Flowers
Samantha was born in Oldham near Manchester in 1966. She studied at Rochdale College of Art and Middlesex University completing her degree in three dimensional design in 1989.
During her studies Samantha's work developed from using her illustrations as decoration for her ceramics to creating two dimensional drawings in their own right. Her imagery mixes fun with fantasy and influences such as Indian and Renaissance iconography are apparent in her work.
Samantha travelled to India and Nepal following her graduation and her use of vibrant colour shows the lasting passion she has for Asia. Since 1990 Samantha has been involved in several mixed exhibitions and her prints have been included in collections across the UK.
