In her younger years, it was evident that Carrie was destined to draw and paint. Through the years a culmination of awards landed Carrie's with a full scholarship at the renowned Art centre in Pasadena. There she continued on her pathway to brilliance and graduated with the highest honour of distinction.
Today, Carrie's painting is not unlike the master Dutch painter Vermeer, perhaps Carrie's favourite and most inspirational artist. At the young age of twenty-six she had already accumulated an impressive amount of accolades and awards. These perhaps have made of one of the most exciting well collected and up and coming American artist.
Focusing on subtext visions, which are often overlooking, she composes settings bursting with dramatic light sources. Carrie's depictions of various interior environments come alive as her soft realistic and bold approach warms the viewer's senses.
